Tata Steel Ltd. is set to announce its financial results for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, next week. The steelmaking arm of Tata Group is one of the leading manufacturers of metal in India and the world.

With an annual crude steel capacity of over 35 million tonnes per annum (MTPA), the company is one of the world's most geographically diversified steel producers. Tata Steel along with subsidiaries, associated and joint ventures has operations over five continents with an employee base of over 78,000.

Tata Steel, in an exchange filing on Jan. 17, said that its board of directors will meet to approve and announce the October-December quarter results on Monday, Jan. 27.

"A meeting of the Board of Directors of Tata Steel Limited ('the Company') will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, inter alia, to consider and take on record the audited Standalone and unaudited Consolidated Financial Results of the Company for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024," the company said.

The earnings discussion call will be held on Tuesday, January 28 at 3 p.m. IST. and will be streamed live on the company's official YouTube channel.

Earlier this month, Tata Steel announced that its production in India increased by 6% year-on-year, reaching 5.68 million tonnes for the quarter ended December 2024. The company's domestic deliveries for the same period grew by 8% YoY, totalling 5.29 million tonnes, compared to 4.9 million tonnes in Q3 FY24, according to its quarterly business update.

The company stated that its trading window will remain closed till after 48 hours after the results are declared.

Tata Steel Ltd.'s shares have increased by 0.97% over the last five trading sessions on the NSE. In contrast, the shares have fallen 7.02% and 2.43% in the previous month and the last year, respectively.

Tata Steel's consolidated revenue for Q2 FY25 declined by 3% year-on-year to Rs 53,905 crore, compared to Rs 55,682 crore in the same quarter last year. The company reported a net profit of Rs 759 crore, marking a turnaround from a Rs 6,511 crore loss in the previous year. Ebitda rose 44% to Rs 6,141 crore, up from Rs 4,268 crore, with margins expanding to 11.4% from 7.7%.
