Sun TV Quarterly Results: Date And Time
Sun TV Network Ltd. in an exchange filing dated Feb. 3 said that its board will meet on Feb. 7, Friday, to discuss and approve the company's financial statements for the quarter and nine months ending December 31, 2024.
"This is to inform you that pursuant to Regulation 29 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company, is scheduled to be held on Friday,7th February 2025, inter-alia to consider and approve the following: (i) the Unaudited Standalone and Consolidated Financial Results for the Quarter ended 31 st December 2024," the notification stated.
Sun TV Q3 Results: Interim Dividend
The company stated that its board of directors will also consider the proposal to declare an interim dividend for FY25. Sun TV, in a notification on Feb. 4, set Feb. 10 as the record date for the interim dividend. However, it was later revised to Feb. 13.
"This is to inform you that Thursday, 13th February 2025 shall be the Revised Record Date for the Interim Dividend if any, declared at the Board Meeting to be held on Friday, 7th February 2025. The Payment for the Interim Dividend if any, declared shall be paid within 30 days from the date of declaration as per the provisions of Companies Act 2013," the company said.

Shares of Sun TV Networks Ltd. have gained over 0.6% in the past five trading sessions on the NSE. The stock has traded 4.3% lower in a month while dropping 26% in the last six months. Over the past year, the share price of Sun TV has remained nearly flat, down by 0.26% on the NSE.
Sun TV Q2 Earnings Highlights
Sun TV recorded a subdued performance in the September 2024 quarter, posting a 12% year-on-year drop in its net profit at Rs 409.32 crore in comparison to Rs 464.69 crore a year ago. The company's revenue also came down by 10.9% YoY to Rs 934.54 crore in Q2 against Rs 1048.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Margins were reduced to 57.9% in Q2 versus 69.4% in the year-ago period. Sun TV's Q2 Ebitda stood at Rs 540.82 crore, marking a 26% decline from Rs 727.82 crore in Q2 of FY24.
