Nalco Q4 Results: Profit Up 32%, Margin Widens

National Aluminium claimed that it recorded its highest-ever yearly net profit and revenue from operations in FY25.

National Aluminium Co. reported an uptick in both top line and bottom line in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025.

The net profit of the company grew 32% to Rs 2,067 crore in the March quarter compared to Rs 1,566 crore in the year-ago period, according to an exchange filing on Wednesday.

  • Revenue up 13% to Rs 5,267.83 crore versus Rs 4,662.22 crore.

  • Ebitda up 27.4% to Rs 2,829.74 crore versus Rs 2,222 crore.

  • Margin at 53.7% versus 47.7%.

  • Net profit up 32% to Rs 2,067.23 crore versus Rs 1,566.32 crore.

The company's consolidated segment-wise quarter-on-quarter revenue in the chemicals space was up 0.8% to Rs 2,536.66 crore and aluminium revenue was up 25% to Rs 3,250.26 crore. Aluminium sales made up 56% of the total revenue.

The firm claimed in a press release that it recorded its highest-ever yearly net profit of Rs. 5,325 crore. It also reported its highest-ever revenue from operations of Rs 16,788 crore for financial year 2025.

The metals company said that this growth was due to strong aluminium and alumina prices, streamlining of their operations, and an improvement in the efficiency and momentum in their expansion projects.

Chairperson Brijendra Pratap Singh said the company is targeting long-term sustainable growth through strategic expansions, including the fifth-stream expansion of the alumina refinery, operationalisation of the Pottangi Bauxite Mines and the proposed expansion of the existing smelter plant and captive power plant.
