LIC Housing Finance Q4 Results: Profit Meets Estimate

The board recommended a dividend of Rs 10 per share of Rs 2 each.

LIC Housing Finance Ltd. reported an uptick in both total income and net profit in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025.

The net profit of the company rose 25% to Rs 1,368 crore, compared to Rs 1,091 crore in the year-ago period, according to a exchange filing on Thursday. This is in line with the consensus estimate of Rs 1,348 crore by analyst tracked by Bloomberg.

LIC Housing Finance Q4 Highlights (Standalone, YoY)

  • Total Income up 5% to Rs 7,283 crore versus Rs 6,937 crore.

  • Net profit up 25% to Rs 1,368 crore versus Rs 1,091 crore (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 1,348 crore).

Dividend

The board recommended a dividend of Rs 10 per share of Rs 2 each.

The dividend on equity shares will be paid within 30 days if approved by the shareholders in the ensuing annual general meeting of the company.

LIC Housing Finance's stock closed 1.37% higher at Rs 624.9 apiece on the NSE, compared to an 1.6% advance in the benchmark Nifty. It has declined 0.96% in the last 12 months and risen 4.50% on a year-to-date basis.

Nineteen out of the 31 analysts tracking the company have a 'buy' rating on the stock, seven recommend a 'hold' and five suggest a 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The 12-month analysts' consensus target price on the stock is Rs 662.53, implying a upside of 6%.
