ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company reported a 122% year-on-year increase in net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2025. The consolidated net profit rose to Rs 385 crore, compared to Rs 174 crore in the year-ago period. The company also posted a 10.7% rise in net premium income, which climbed to Rs 16,369 crore, up from Rs 14,788 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company’s solvency ratio improved to 212.2%, up by 40 basis points from 211.8% in the December 2024 quarter. The company also reported a 5.2% year-on-year growth in assets under management (AUM) to Rs 3.09 lakh crore in Q4FY25, from Rs 2.94 lakh crore in the same period a year ago.

The annualised premium equivalent (APE) declined 3% to Rs 3,502 crore. The value of new business (VNB) rose 2.5% year-on-year to Rs 795 crore. The VNB margin improved to 22.7%, up from 21.2% in the previous quarter.

Over the past five trading sessions, the life insurance stock has remained flat, while rising 3.80% over the last month. In the six months, the stock has advanced 3.25%. So far in 2025, the stock has gained marginally by 0.48%, while rising 1.34% in the last one year.

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance shares touched a 52-week high of Rs 796.8 apiece on the NSE on Oct. 1, 2024, and hit a 52-week low of Rs 525.8 apiece on April 7, 2025.
