Hero MotoCorp Has A Record-Setting Fiscal Amid Eroding Market Share

Hero MotoCorp Quarterly Results: Net profit of India's largest two-wheeler maker rose 16% year-on-year to Rs 4,610 crore in FY25, even as revenue increased 9% to Rs 40,756 crore.

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. clocked its best ever fiscal performance in 2024-25 despite a steady erosion in market share.

Net profit of India's largest two-wheeler maker rose 16% year-on-year to Rs 4,610 crore in the financial year ended 31 March 2025, even as revenue increased 9% to Rs 40,756 crore, according to an exchange filing on Tuesday.

That came on the back of 58.99 lakh two-wheelers sold in fiscal 2025.

  • Revenue up 4.4% at Rs 9,939 crore (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 9,765 crore)

  • Ebitda up 4.1% at Rs 1,416 crore (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 1,391 crore)

  • Margin down 10 basis points at 14.2% (Bloomberg estimate: 14.24%)

  • Net profit up 6.4% at Rs 1,081 crore (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 1,124.4 crore)

One basis point is one-hundredth of a percentage point.

The company has declared a final dividend of Rs 65 per share, taking the total amount to Rs 165 per share for fiscal 2025.
