Ashok Leyland Ltd. has delivered its strongest-ever third quarter as revenue and net profit rose to a record.
Standalone net profit of the truck-maker rose 31.32% year-on-year to Rs 761.74 crore in the three months ended Dec. 31, 2024, even as revenue increased 2.21% to Rs 9,478.67 crore, according to an exchange filing on Wednesday.
In the process, the Chennai-based automaker turned net cash positive.

Shares of Ashok Leyland were trading 4.35% higher at Rs 212.45 apiece on the BSE at 2:08 p.m., compared to a 0.42% decline in the benchmark Sensex.
