Make Workplaces Inclusive To Battle Depression, Says Deepika Padukone

Change workplace policies to create an environment which allows people to discuss issues like depression and anxiety. That’s the word from actor Deepika Padukone who has battled against the ailment herself and spoken about it on multiple forums.

An “inclusive” workplace can destigmatise such issues, she told BloombergQuint on the sidelines of the Indian Economic Summit at the World Economic Forum. Padukone’s foundation Live, Love, Laugh will reach out to corporates to make workplaces a lot more accepting and happier, she said.
