Loved for its lively flavours, Korean cuisine has ranked as the second most searched international option in India. The deeply fragrant dishes of the Arabic cuisine closely followed, according to a report by Justdial.
The balanced spicy blends of the Korean cuisine, grew to be a strong favourite in tier-2 and tier-3 cities of India, as it made up 5% of the searches. Ranking second in the top 3 most searched international cuisines, Korean contributed to 15% of the searches across the country.
The passion to embrace new flavours is also evident as the Arabic cuisine closely followed with 12% searches in India.
Biriyani Love Intact
Love for Biriyani stood strong, as the dish ranked in the top 3 searches across tier-1, tier-2 and tier-3 cities of India. Chennai brought the highest demand for Biriyani with 20% searches coming from the city. While, Hyderabad had Biriyani accounting for 17% of the searches and Kolkata followed 15% of the searches coming from the city, the report showed.
Hyderabad's love for Mandi was also on display, as searches for the Arabic dish contributed to 25% of the searches.
Meanwhile, Chinese reigned supreme as the most searched international option in India, accounting for 31% of the international option searches across the country.
