(Bloomberg) -- The Scottish Conservative Party appointed Douglas Ross as its new leader, replacing Jackson Carlaw, who unexpectedly resigned last week after just six months in the job.
Ross, the member of parliament for Moray, confirmed the appointment on Twitter.
