(Bloomberg) -- Libya's internationally recognized government is officially requesting Turkish ground and aerial support as it battles the forces of eastern commander Khalifa Haftar, an official said.
The cabinet in Tripoli agreed on making the request at a meeting Thursday, according to the senior official in the Government of National Accord, who declined to be named discussing a sensitive topic.
