Indian Air Force Plane AN-32 Goes Missing With 29 on Board
Massive search operations on for missing Indian Air Force plane.
An Indian Air Force plane, which was flying from Chennai to Port Blair, went missing today with 29 people on board, wire agency PTI reports.
The AN-32 aircraft took off at 8:30 am from Tambaram in Chennai and the last contact with it was made 16 minutes later, defence sources told PTI. The aircraft can fly for up to four hours without refuelling.
A massive search operation has been launched by the IAF, Navy and the Coast Guard, according to ANI and the Twitter handle of the Ministry of Defence.
