India's doubles pair Madhurika Patkar and Mouma Das fought back from 0-2 down, but failed to cross the line in a close match. They lost 8-11, 5-11, 11-5, 11-7, 11-13. Madhurika Patkar wrapped up the match for India with a 11-3, 11-4, 12-10 win over Chloe Thomas.

Cycling: India Finish 7th in Men's Team Sprint Qualifying

The men's cycling team finished seventh in the sprint qualifying round. They could finish ahead of only one country – Seychelles with a timing of 46.174 seconds.

Cycling: India Finish 6th Women's Team Sprint Qualifying

India continue to disappoint in cycling after finishing sixth in the women's team sprint qualifying round. Only Canada finished after India due to disqualification. India completed the sprint with a timing of 35.309 seconds.

Cycling: India Finish 7th in Women's 4000m Team Pursuit Qualifications

The Indian women's cycling team finished seventh in the 4000m pursuit qualifications with a timing of 5 hours and 5 minutes. India finished behind six other nations, which competed in the event.

Australia finished with the best timing of 4 hours and 17 minutes.
