The fifth phase of Uttar Pradesh elections begins on Monday, as over 1.48 crore voters, spread over 11 districts take to the ballot across 51 constituencies. In this third-last phase, the electoral fate of 608 candidates will be decided, even as over 117 of them face serious criminal charges.
