Delhi Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana: Eligibility, Documents Required, How To Apply And More
According to the chief minister, the beneficiaries should receive at least one to two instalments before March 31 of next year.

The Delhi government has announced the Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana which is aimed at providing financial assistance of Rs 1,000 per month to women residents. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi at a press briefing earlier said that the registration for the scheme is expected to start in a week to10 days.
How will it work?
The application process for the scheme will take place online and will be available on the Delhi government's E-district site which also offers a number of services by the government including income certificate, disability pension, widow pension and more.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, in the press conference while announcing the eligibility criteria for Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana, said that to avail the benefit, a woman should be resident of Delhi, having a voter ID with Delhi address. Those between the age of 18 and above on December 12, the day the scheme was notified, are eligible to avail the financial assistance announced by the government.
However, women getting benefits under social security schemes of the Delhi government like old age pension, widow pension, etc. will not be eligible to apply for the scheme. Women who paid income taxes during the previous assessment cycle and employees of central, state or local governments, either current or former, are also not eligible for the scheme. Besides, former MP, MLA or council member too don't stand eligible.
According to the chief minister, the beneficiaries should receive at least one to two instalments before March 31 of next year. However, the announcement of the Delhi poll dates will determine when the funds will be credited.
Among the documents needed to apply for the scheme are Aadhaar card, voter ID card, birth certificate, PAN card, Secondary High School certificate or other documents proving age of 18 or above as on December 12, 2024.
Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has promised that if Aam Aadmi Party wins the state polls, the benefit amount would be increased to Rs 2,100 per month.
