Turkey reported 2,861 new coronavirus cases as recoveries surpassed new cases for a second consecutive day, with 3.845 people discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours.
Total coronavirus cases rose to 107,773. Turkey's total fatalities from the outbreak reached 2,706 with 106 new deaths. Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said total recoveries topped 25,000 and urged citizens to comply restrictions that aim to limit the spread of the virus.
