If Russian President Vladimir Putin extends his reign, he's likely to reap the consequences of his economic agenda, good or bad. That will keep him focused on long-run stability, while raising the stakes for his national development projects, according to research by Bloomberg Economics. Putin wants results from his reform efforts, and so does the public. But a meaningful boost to growth would require a full rewiring of the economy -- which is unlikely to happen.
