Harvard Alum Gets the School Its First Super Bowl Touchdown

(Bloomberg) -- Kyle Juszczyk became the first former Harvard Crimson athlete to score a Super Bowl touchdown on Sunday.

In the second quarter, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo completed a pass to Juszczyk for 15 yards and a touchdown, tying the game at 10-10.

The 28-year-old studied economics and played tight end for the Crimson before he was drafted in 2013, according to a recent profile in the Harvard Gazette.

San Francisco went on to lead the game, but couldn't hang on. The Kansas City Chiefs came back in the fourth quarter and won 31-20.
