ITV May Get $193 Million for London Headquarters, FT Reports

(Bloomberg) -- U.K. broadcaster ITV Plc could raise at least 150 million pounds ($193 million) in the sale of it London headquarters along the River Thames, the Financial Times reported Sunday, citing people familiar with matter.

The site will be used for a 31-story residential tower with 213 apartments as well as a separate office and studio project, the newspaper said.

ITV had leased the site near the National Theatre and Waterloo station for decades. It bought the offices for 56 million pounds in 2013, but moved out during refurbishing project in 2017.

Chief Executive Officer Carolyn McCall decided to sell the building and run network operations from ITV's offices in central London, the paper said. Some of ITV's programs are also filmed at studios in west London, which are owned by the BBC.

Real estate agency Knight Frank LLP is handling the sale, the paper said.
