Important Information- Every year, on this auspicious day, most Hindus observe Satyanarayan fast. But this year, due to Chandra Grahan, the fast will be observed on Chaturdashi Tithi.

As mentioned above, this festival plays a very significant role in the Hindu community. The Purnima in the month of Kartik is considered to be one of the most pious Purnimas of the year. It is believed that Kartik Purnima pooja helps an individual get rid of all the committed sins. Hindus around the world observe fast and take a bath in the Holy water, Ganga.
