No Heatwave Relief For Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan — Check Four-Day IMD Weather Forecast
According to an IMD press release issued on Apr. 6, Delhi, Haryana, western Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh are among the states where heatwave conditions will affect daily life this week.

Heatwave conditions are expected over Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Punjab for the next 4-5 days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted. Gujarat and parts of Rajasthan recorded intense heat waves on Sunday in isolated pockets, which are expected to continue this week.
Moreover, rainfall and thunderstorms, accompanied by lighting are expected in east India between April 7 and 10.

IMD Weather Forecast
April 7-10: Heatwave conditions are likely in isoilated to few pockets over Gujarat, with severe heatwave in Saurashtra and Kutch on April 7, the IMD said.
April 7-10: Heatwave conditions are expected over Rajasthan, with severe heatwave in isolated pockets on April 7-9.
April 7: Heatwave in isolated pockets of Himachal Pradesh
April 7-10: Haryana, Chandigarh are likely to experience heatwave conditions
April 7-10: Heatwave conditions are expected in Punjab
April 7-8: Delhi is expected to reel under heatwaves;
April 7-9: West Uttar Pradesh is likely to be affected from heatwave conditions;
April 8-10: Madhya Pradesh will also be impacted by intense heatwave weather
April 6-9: Hot and humid weather is likely over coastal Gujarat and Konkan and Goa, according to the IMD.
Over the next four days, the maximum temperatures are likely to rise by 2-4°C over northwest India, Maharashtra, and south Peninsular India. The temperature will then fall by 2-3°C in the subsequent three days, the IMD said. Maximum temperatures will also increase by a couple degrees over central India in the next four days.
Meanwhile, east India will witness no significant changes in maximum temperatures over the next three days. This is due to the presence of an upper air cyclonic circulation in the region. In the subsequent three days, the maximum temperature is likely to decrease by about 2 degrees Celsius.
The IMD said that Gujarat will witness an increase in maximum temperature by 2°C over the next two days, following which the temperature will decline.
