While addressing the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Indians have shown their faith in peace, security and development.

"India re-elected the same government for the third consecutive time, something that happened after more than six decades... India will soon be the third largest economy..." Modi added.

While addressing the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised that the world is facing new and complex crises such as climate change, pandemics, terrorism and cybersecurity. Institutions that were made in the last century are struggling to respond, he said.

"The changing circumstances demand credible and effective reforms in global governance. Progress cannot come without giving voice to the global south...We are proud that the African Union became a permanent member of the G20 during our presidency," Modi added.

While addressing the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana, Modi highlighted that India is the mother of democracy and it's not just a system but a part of the nation's fundamental values.

"India has over 2,500 political parties, 20 different parties governing different states, 22 official languages, thousands of dialects. This is why people who came to India have been embraced with open hearts." Modi added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana, paid tribute to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, honoring him as a visionary leader, esteemed statesman and son of Ghana.

"He (Kwame Nkrumah) once said that the forces that unite us are greater than the superimposed influences that keep us apart. His words continue to guide our shared journey..." Modi said.
