The IMD on Wednesday issued an orange alert from Mumbai and neighbouring areas and a red alert for multiple districts in the Konkan region, predicting heavy rainfall over the next two days.

The Indian Meteorological Department has removed alert for Mumbai Suburban, Thane and Palghar on Wednesday.
IMD has issued orange alert for Raigad, Sindhudurg, Nagpur, Wardha, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli districts.

Delhi Rains Live: IMD Issues Red Alert For Delhi NCR
IMD has issued red alert for Delhi NCR, warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds throughout the day.
In addition, parts of Rajasthan, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh are also likely to witness light to moderate rain throughout the day.

In last 24 hours, seven incidents of short circuit and 11 tree/tree branches fell in Mumbai, shared BMC.
Two incidents of portion of house collapse were also reported, but fortunately, no one reported to be injured in monsoon-related incidents in the last 24 hours, it added.
