Candidates can register for the Maharashtra FYJC admission 2025 by visiting the official portal at mahafyjcadmissions.in.

The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department has resumed the online registration process for admissions to First Year Junior College (FYJC) or Class 11 for the academic year 2025-26. The last date for the online registration and choice-filling process has been extended till June 3.
Candidates willing to register for the Maharashtra FYJC admission 2025 can do so by visiting the official portal at mahafyjcadmissions.in.
The registration process had initially begun on May 21. However, the department had to suspend the application process due to technical issues as several students and parents faced issues accessing the portal. Later on, the portal was updated and the issued was fixed by the department. Also, it has been made mobile-compatible.
Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025 New Dates
The registration process resumed as per the revised schedule on May 26.
Here's a list of key dates to remember:
- Online registration start date - May 26
- Last date to register - June 3.
- Provisional general merit list - Jun. 5.
- Objection or correction window for merit list - Jun. 6-7.
- Final general merit list - Jun. 8.
- Zero round for all quota-based admissions (minority, in-house, management) - Jun. 9-11.
- Junior college allotment list - Jun. 10.
- Document submission and admission confirmation across all colleges - Jun. 11-18.
Maharashtra FYJC admission 2025: How to apply?
For the first time, the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) has been implemented by the education department across the state. This allows students from different locations to apply for junior colleges across the state via a single, unified online platform.
Steps to register for the FYJC admission 2025 for Class 11
Step 1: Open the official website at mahafyjcadmissions.in.
Step 2: On the home page, open the link for Maharashtra FYJC Admission Registration.
Step 3: Register yourself by providing all the required details.
Step 4: Complete the login process and pay the fees to continue with the form submission.
Step 5: Download and take a printout of your application for future purposes.
As part of the admission process, nearly 20 lakh seats will be filled in more than 9,200 junior colleges in the states. These include 8.52 lakh seats in Science stream, followed by 5.40 lakh seats for Commerce and 6.50 lakh seats in Arts.
A helpline number and email ID has also been issued to assist students and parents with all queries related to CAP.
