Low Visibility At Delhi Airport Leads To Multiple Flights Cancellations, Train Delays
Over 100 flights were delayed at Delhi airport and all flights were cancelled at Srinagar airport due to bad weather and low visibility.

National capital Delhi woke up to a cover of dense fog for the third day in a row on Sunday, with lower visibility affecting flight and train operations from the city.
As per India Meteorological Department, visibility at Delhi Airport dropped to zero at 7:30 a.m., improving to 100 m by 8:30 a.m.

More than 160 flights were affected at the Indira Gandhi International Airport were affected due to the foggy conditions. Over 155 flights were running late, while at least eight flights had to be cancelled due to poor visibility, officials told NDTV.
In a passenger advisory at around 8:45 a.m., operator Delhi International Airport Ltd. mentioned that low visibility procedures are still in place at IGI Airport. "However, there has been no impact on flight operations. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information."

Earlier in the day, had alerted the passengers that aircraft without Cat III navigation capabilities might face delays.
Foggy weather also led to 51 trains being delayed by four to six hours on Sunday. Indian Railways has urged the passengers to check their train status before commencing travel.
Delhi's air quality was in the 'very poor' category, with an Air Quality Index standing at 372 at 9:00 am, according to Central Pollution Control Board data.
An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'.
The minimum temperature settled two notches above normal at 9.4 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is likely to settle around 18 degrees Celsius. The humidity level was recorded at 95% at 8:30 a.m. The weather department has predicted dense to very dense fog during the day.
All Flights Cancelled At Srinagar Airport
All flight operations at Srinagar Airport were cancelled on account of bad weather conditions and poor visibility, reported NDTV. As per earlier reports, 10 flight were cancelled due to the same.
Dense fog affected flight operations at the airport on Saturday as well, causing delays and diversions.
