The Central Board of Secondary Education has stated that it has not yet made any announcement regarding the Class 10 or Class 12 results.
With the CBSE 2025 results expected soon, a lot of misinformation and fake notifications about the result date are creating considerable confusion among students. Now, a fake letter dated May 2, claiming that the CBSE Class 10 results will be declared on May 6 at 11 a.m., is making the rounds on social media.
In response, the Central Board of Secondary Education clarified through an official post on X (formerly Twitter) that no formal announcement has been made yet regarding the results for either Class 10 or Class 12.
The CBSE, on X (formerly Twitter), wrote, “A letter dated 2nd May 2025 is being circulated on social media. This letter is FAKE. It has not been issued by CBSE. No official announcement has been made regarding the declaration of Class X/XII 2025 results.”
The board then went on to add in the post that it urges students, parents and stakeholders to refrain from spreading unverified information and to trust only official sources. The board also provided a link to the CBSE website — http://cbse.gov.in — and stated that “authentic updates” would be available there.
