The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has alerted students and parents about a fake notice on CBSE Class 10th, 12th results 2025 which is circulating in social media.

The fake notice claims that the board will adopt a new format and a new method to declare the 2025 CBSE results. The notice mentions that the results will be declared in two halves and also mentions specific dates when the CBSE Class 10 and CBSE Class 12 results will be declared.

Referring to the CBSE notice on Digilocker access code, the fake notification mentions that this year CBSE Board will declare the results of board exams in a halfway grouped method. It also stated that due to this change in method, the CBSE Class 10th, 12th results 2025 are getting delayed.

As per the fake notice, CBSE Class 10th results will be declared for half of the students on May 9 and for the other half on May 15 at 11 am. Similarly, the CBSE Class 12th result 2025 will be out on May 14 at 11 am for half of the students and on May 16 at 1 pm for the remaining students.

The fake notice mentions that the CBSE Board has adopted this process to reduce the traffic congestion on the CBSE official website, cbse.gov.in.

A week earlier, on May 2, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) dismissed rumours about the class 10 and 12 board exam results release dates. The board’s clarification came after it was widely circulated on social media that the annual board exam results would be announced on May 6.

CBSE has urged students to avoid sharing unverified news and rely only on official sources for any updates. The students can track all the updates about results on the board’s official website – cbse.gov.in.
