In June 2025, banks across India will be closed for several days due to national and regional holidays, in addition to their regular weekend closures.

Banks across nearly all states and Union Territories will remain closed for a total of 12 days in June. This includes five listed holidays and the holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays, as well as all five Sundays.

All banks will remain closed across the country on Saturday, June 7, due to Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha), as per the Reserve Bank of India's holiday calendar.

The RBI Bank holiday calendar shows that there are a total of five holidays in June due to national and regional festive days.

Bakri Eid (Id-Uz-Zuha) will be observed on June 7 across all states and UTs, except Kerala, Gujarat, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh. It will be celebrated in Kerala a day earlier.

On this day, bank branches will remain closed. However, other banking services, including ATMs, net banking, UPI, and online transactions, will function normally.
