While RCB and PBKS fans eagerly await the big clash at Narendra Modi Stadium, weather could play spoilsport. There are fears that rain might disrupt the match. The development has added uncertainty to the much-anticipated battle for the maiden IPL trophy of both teams.
IMD Weather Forecast For Ahmedabad
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are “very likely” at a few places in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. This could affect the IPL final between RCB and PBKS at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The IMD weather bulletin at 12 p.m. predicted that Ahmedabad is anticipated to receive light to moderate rain showers from June 3 to June 7. Based on IMD’s data, light rain means 2.5 to 15.5 mm, while moderate rain means 15.6 to 64.4 mm of rainfall is expected.
While no alert has been issued for the city, the possibility of rain in isolated places in Ahmedabad is “very likely”, according to the IMD. This means that there is a 51% to 75% probability of light to moderate rain or thundershowers in Ahmedabad on Tuesday.
The weather agency said that the city will likely experience a minimum temperature of around 26.0°C, while the maximum temperature may settle at 39.0°C.
