The U.S. pharma watchdog has approved an oral drug developed by Zydus Cadilla used to treat influenza, according to Cadilla Healthcare Ltd.'s exchange filing.
The drug, a powdered form of Oseltamivir, will be manufactured at Zydus's facility in the U.S. and has an estimated market size of $367.92 million, according to the filing.
The exchange filing further said that the pharmaceutical group has 150 approvals and has filed over 300 Abbreviated New Drug Applications since the commencement of the filing process in financial year 2003-04.
