FIIs In Cash Market
Foreign portfolio investors stayed net sellers of Indian equities for the third straight day on Friday as they net offloaded stocks worth approximately Rs 3,449.2 crore.
Domestic institutional investors stayed net buyers for the 13th straight session as they bought equities worth Rs 2,884.6 crore, according to provisional data from the National Stock Exchange.
The net selling by overseas investors was higher on Friday as compared to the preceding session, when they had net offloaded equities worth Rs 3,311.6 crore.

FIIs In Futures And Options
Ahead of the Feb. 27 expiry, the value of outstanding positions—also called open interest in the derivatives segment—has decreased for the foreign institutional investors in the Nifty futures. The FIIs' long-to-short ratio in index futures remains at 14:86.
The FIIs bought index futures and options worth Rs 18.34 crore and Rs 1,229.55 crore, respectively. They bought stock options worth Rs 1,244.09 crore and sold stock futures worth Rs 1,093.69 crore.
FII Contract Value
The value of the total Nifty 50 futures open interest in the market decreased by Rs 3,184.62 crore at the end of February expiry from Rs 37,606.8 crore a day earlier to Rs 34,422.18 crore.
F&O Cues
The Nifty February futures were down 0.62% to 22,822.60 at a premium of 26.7 points, with the open interest down 7.99%.
The open interest distribution for the Nifty 50 Feb. 27 expiry series indicated most activity at 24,000 call strikes, with the 22,000 put strikes having the maximum open interest.
Long-Short Ratio
The total long-short ratio for foreign investors remained at 1.21.
