Stocks To Watch Today: Lupin, Mazagon Dock, RVNL, Wipro, Unimech Aerospace

Lupin Ltd., Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd., Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd. are some of the main stocks that will be on the radar in Tuesday's trade.

While Lupin announced a major acquisition from US drugmaker Eli Lilly, RVNL and Mazagon Dock received significant orders.

Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Ltd. will make its debut on the secondary market after receiving solid bids in the IPO last week.

Stocks To Watch

  • Lupin: The company announced the acquisition of Huminsulin in India from US drugmaker Eli Lilly to further enhance its diabetes portfolio.

  • RVNL: The company emerged as lowest bidder for a central railway project worth Rs 137.16 crore.

  • Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders: The company signed a contract worth Rs 1,990 crore with the Ministry of Defence for air independent propulsion plug.

  • Prestige Estates Projects: The company's unit picked a 49% stake in WSI Falcon Infra Projects that is developing IT and IT-enabled services park in 6.53 acres of land situated at Porur, Chennai.

  • Wipro: The company has extended the deadline to complete acquisition of Applied Value Tech to Jan. 31, 2025.

  • Vakrangee: The company partnered with Future General Insurance Co. to offer general insurance products across its networks.

  • Shriram Properties: The company sells 3.9-acre land in Chennai to a healthcare and educational group and signed agreement for sale/divestment of securities held in its arm SPL Shelters to a group of individual buyers, part of a large healthcare and educational group in South India, for Rs 93 crore.

  • Gokul Agro Resources: The company acquired fixed assets worth Rs 105.53 crore of Mangalore Edible Oil Refinery from Anagha Refineries. The acquisition will add a capacity of 100 TPD. The acquisition is funded out of borrowing and internal accruals.

  • Prataap Snacks: A fire at the Jammu manufacturing unit has damaged inventory, machinery, the building, and furniture, disrupting operations. Until operations resume, the northern market's demand will be met through third-party units in Hisar and Karnal.

  • CESC: The company's arm Noida Power Co. issued a letter of acceptance to unit Purvah Green Power for procurement of power.

Listing Day

  • Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing: The company's shares will debut on the stock exchange on Tuesday at an issue price of Rs 785. The Rs 500-crore IPO has been subscribed 175.31 times on the final day. The bids were led by qualified institutional investors (317.63 times), non-institutional investors (263.78 times) and retail investors (56.78 times), portion reserved for employees (97.81 times).
