Analysts have advised investors to buy some stocks including Samvardhana Motherson, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Dalmia Bharat, Torrent Pharma, and Hero MotoCorp.

Swati Hotkar, assistant vice president of technical research at Nirmal Bang, Brijesh Ail of IDBI Capital, Sneha Seth, senior analyst at Angel One, and Vinay Rajani, senior technical & derivative research analyst at HDFC Securities, share insights with NDTV Profit.

Samvardhana Motherson

These stock calls have a potential upside of up to 7.5%.

Samvardhana Motherson has been given a 'buy' rating for a target price of Rs 152, implying a 7.5% upside, by Hotkar. She has recommended keeping the stop-loss at Rs 136. The stock had hit its lifetime high of Rs 216.99 on September 27. In the last 12 months, it has risen 22% but it is currently trading 11.5% lower on a year-to-date basis.

Torrent Pharma

Torrent Pharma has been given a 'buy' by Ail for a target of Rs 3,530, implying a 5.3% upside. He has advised to keep the stop-loss at Rs 3,307. The stock hit its lifetime high of Rs 3,590.7 on October 9. In the last 12 months, it has risen 31.2%. The stock is currently trading 0.6% lower on a year-to-date basis.

In December quarter, the company reported a net profit growth of 14% to Rs 503 crore, in line with analysts' estimates.

Hero MotoCorp

Hero MotoCorp has been rated 'buy' by Seth for a target of Rs 4,230, implying a 3.8% upside. According to her, the stop-loss is Rs 4,095. The stock hit its lifetime high of Rs 6,246.25 on September 24. In the last 12 months, it has fallen 12% and it is currently trading 2% lower on a year-to-date basis.

Dalmia Bharat

Dalmia Bharat is also a Hotkar pick. She recommends buying its for a target of Rs 1,910, implying nearly a 3% upside and has recommended to keep the stop-loss at Rs 1,800. The stock hit its lifetime high of Rs 2,548.4 on September 14, 2021. It has fallen 18.3% in the last 12 months but risen 5.4% on a year-to-date basis.

Kotak Mahindra Bank

Kotak Bank has been given a 'buy' by Rajani for a target of Rs 1,970, implying a 2.5% upside, keeping the stop-loss at Rs 1,895. The stock hit its lifetime high of Rs 2,253 on October 27, 2021. It has risen 5.88% in the last 12 months and 8.1% on a year-to-date basis.
