CSB Bank

CSB Bank Ltd.'s shares surged by over 6% on Thursday following a strong business update, with the bank reporting a 22.17% year-on-year growth in deposits. The bank’s term deposits saw a notable increase of 28.10%, rising from Rs 19,802 crore in December 2023 to Rs 25,365 crore in December 2024.

Shares of Gujarat Toolroom Ltd. were locked in the upper circuit at 5% on Thursday following the company’s announcement that its Board of Directors will meet on Monday, January 6, to discuss and approve a 5:1 bonus issue. The proposal includes issuing five bonus equity shares for every one equity share held by eligible shareholders, subject to shareholder approval and the capitalisation of the securities premium. The record date for the bonus issue will be announced later.
