Stock Market Live: Colgate Share Price

Colgate-Palmolive Ltd. reported a 17% year-on-year decline in net profit to Rs 327.50 crore for the quarter ended September.

Following the subdued performance in the second quarter, brokerages including Citi, Investec, and Jefferies revised their target prices, with mixed outlooks on the company's near-term growth prospects.

The scrip slided 3% with the share price slipping to Rs 2,208 as of 9:27 a.m. This decline compared to a 0.11% decline in the Nifty 50.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Kotak Rejects ‘Equities Vs Gold’ Debate

The traditional 'Equities vs. Gold' debate is largely irrelevant, according to Kotak Securities as the assets serve fundamentally different functions in household savings.

Kotak Securities in a recent note, said that equities are for investment and while gold acts as insurance. The near-term gold price drivers, like fear of missing out or FOMO and currency debasement arguments, appears weak to the analyst.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty 50 Check

The names leading gains in the Nifty 50 pack is Hindalco with over 3% gains. Names in the green include ONGC, Shriram Finance, Bharti Airtel and more.

The counters that were dragging the index are HUL after second qurter results. Cipla has also marked deep losses. Kotak Mahindra Bank and Ultratech are also counters trading in the red.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Hindalco Share Price

The shares of Hindalco advanced over 3.66% during trade. These gains were part of the broader rally in the sector as the scrip led gains among the lot. The top gainer was NALCO while Hindalco closely followed these gains.

The scrip was also the top gainer on the Nifty 50 as of 12:43 p.m. The scrip was trading at Rs 821.40 apiece on the NSE as these gains compare to a 0.25% decline in the Nifty 50 as of 12:42 p.m.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: PTC Financial Shares Surge

PTC India Financial shares surges over 14% after posting its seconf quarter results. The net profit was up 86.2% to Rs 88.1 crore versus Rs 47.3 crore. While the net interest income was down 6% to Rs 72.3 crore versus Rs 77 crore.

The scrip was up 14.22% at Rs 39.92 apiece on the NSE. This compared to a 0.15% decine in the Nifty 50 as of 12:15 p.m.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Ajanta Pharma To Consider Q2 Results, Interim Dividend On Nov. 3

Ajanta Pharma said its Board will meet on Nov. 3 to review unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended Sept. 30, 2025. The Board will also consider declaring the first interim dividend for FY26 and fix November 10 as the record date, the company said in its exchange filing.
