Sai Life
TPG Asia – the largest public shareholder – sold 10% of equity via block deal today. Dealers indicate that most of this chunk was bought by domestic institutional investors like Nippon MF, HDFC MF, Axis MF and Mirae MF.
Northern Arc
Nearly 14% of equity changed hands in a block deal today. Dealers indicate that this was a promoter stake. Dealers also say that large HNIs have accumulated the counter at lower levels on expectations of a bounce back. Northern Arc has been an underperformer, as the stock is down over 35% in the last year.
PFC and REC
Share prices of both the power financiers gained on the RBI relaxation related to project financing. However, dealers say that large HNIs have been selling their shares on every rise. One of the concerns highlighted was growth, which still does not get addressed with this relaxation.
Globus Spirits and Galaxy Surfactants
Dealers indicate that smart and influential investors have deployed funds in both the counters from a long-term perspective.
Hubtown
A positional buy trade was taken by large, high-net-worth individuals in anticipation of a positive announcement soon.
VIP Industries
Dealers indicate that the buzz of a potential stake sale by the promoter or a fundraise from multiple private equity investors is on cards. However, do remember that this buzz has been around for quite a while now.
