Retail private sector banks will continue to report healthy profitability trend as opposed to the ones focused on corporates due to significantly lower asset quality concerns, according to Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company.
“We are structurally positive on the retail private sector banks based on their increasing loan and deposit market share is increasing,” Shibani Sircar Kurian, senior vice president and head of equity research at the AMC told BloombergQuint in an interview.
