Be it for personal commute or commercial transport, most of us consume petrol and diesel on a day-to-day basis. Hence, we must keep a tab on the prices of these essential fuels.

The petrol and diesel prices have been steady across the country for the last few weeks. The fuel prices have remained below the ₹100 mark in the national capital. However, in other metro cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, etc., petrol prices have been soaring above ₹100!

Let's look at the petrol and diesel prices today i.e., October 20, 2022, in major Indian cities.

Petrol And Diesel Prices Today In Major Metro Cities

Mumbai - The petrol and diesel prices in Mumbai remain stable at ₹106.31 per litre and ₹94.27 per litre respectively.

New Delhi – In the national capital, the fuel prices remain the same as yesterday (October 19th). Petrol is priced at ₹96.72 per litre, and diesel at ₹89.62 per litre.

Bangalore – In Bangalore, fuel prices remain unchanged. Petrol is priced at ₹101.94 per litre and diesel at ₹87.89 per litre.

Hyderabad – Today, the fuel prices in Hyderabad remain unchanged with petrol at ₹109.66 per litre and diesel at ₹97.82 per litre.

Chennai – Today, the petrol price in Chennai stands at ₹102.63 per litre, while the diesel price is ₹94.24 per litre.

Kolkata – The fuel prices in Kolkata remain unchanged with petrol at ₹106.03 per litre and diesel at ₹92.76 per litre.
