NSE Holidays 2025: After an eventful February, the month of March is all set to bring several holidays, festivals, events, and important days to celebrate. There are as many as eight listed public holidays in March, which will be observed across several states and union territories.

For Indian stock exchanges, there will be two holidays on weekdays this month, in addition to the regular weekend offs. According to the National Stock Exchange's (NSE) calendar, March 14 will be a holiday on account of Holi, and March 31 will be a holiday for Eid-Ul-Fitr. The Equity Segment, Equity Derivative Segment, as well as SLB Segment of NSE and BSE will not host any trading activity on these dates.

Since both the NSE and BSE (formerly Bombay Stock Exchange) are based in Mumbai, their holidays align with state holidays in Maharashtra. Typically, Gudi Padwa is observed as a public holiday in Maharashtra. However, this year, it falls on March 30, which is a Sunday.
