Nifty 50 Top Gainers, Losers On May 29: IndusInd Bank, Adani Ports To Bajaj Finance

Sensex closed the session 0.41% higher at 77,606.43. Nifty 50 closed the session 0.45% up at 23,591.95.

IndusInd Bank erased its losses to close 2.68% in the green at Rs 826.75 apiece. Eternal came in second and closed 1.77% higher at Rs 228.14. Trent closed third highest, up 1.76% at Rs 5,657 apiece. Sun Pharma and Adani Ports were also among the top performers on Thursday.

HDFC Life Insurance Co. fell the most to close 1.08% lower at Rs 780.90, followed by Tata Consumers, closing 1.03% lower at Rs 1,109.80 apiece. Bharat Electronics also closed in the red, 0.93% lower at Rs 386.80 apiece. Jio Finance and Bajaj Finance were also among the losers.

Nifty PSU Bank emerged as top sectoral gainer for the day, led by Bank of Baroda and Punjab National Bank. Nifty Micap150 gained 0.4% for the day, led by Thermax, Hitachi Energy.
