(Bloomberg) -- The tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 Index sank as much as 3 percent at the open. Amazon.com lost 7.6 percent and Google parent Alphabet dropped 3.3 percent. The Nasdaq index has fallen more than 10 percent from its August record.
