AU Small Finance Bank Ltd. reported strong earnings, led by higher treasury gains (including Aavas stake sale) and steady net interest income growth as margins expanded 30 basis point QoQ to 5.1%.
On the business front, disbursements are gradually picking up, with September 2020 disbursements at 99% of September 2019 levels.
Thus, we expect H2 FY21 to be better as the ongoing festive season should help demand revival.
