Infosys Q1 Attrition Rate Rises To 14.4%, Headcount At 3.23 Lakh Employees
Infosys attrition rate rose to 14.4% in the June quarter of FY26 while the total headcount stood at 3.23 lakh employees.

Infosys announced its April-June quarter results of current fiscal (Q1FY26) on Wednesday, July 23, reporting a marginal rise in attrition rate to 14.4%, compared to 14.1% in the preceding March quarter of FY25 (Q4FY25). India's second-largest information technology (IT) services giant's total headcount stood at 3.23 lakh employees.
The attrition rate measures the rate at which employees leave a company over a period of time. A lower rate is generally considered healthy for a company. According to Infosys' regulatory filing to the stock exchanges, the total employee headcount rose by 210 to 323,788 employees in Q1FY26 compared to the March quarter.

Infosys' 12-month attrition rate of 14.4% in the quarter-under-review was higher than 12.7% reported in the year-ago period. The utilization (excluding trainees) stood at 85.2% compared to 84.9% in the preceding March quarter and 85.3% in the year-ago period.
Notably, the software services company's share of women employees rose marginally to 39.1% in the June quarter, compared to 39% in the March quarter and 39.2% in the year-ago period. The total headcount stood at 323,788 employees, slightly higher than 323,578 employees in the previous quarter and 315,332 employees in the year-ago period.

Infosys Q1 Results
Infosys Ltd raised its lower-end revenue guidance for the ongoing fiscal. While its profit for April-June period declined, it met analysts expectations. The IT services company now expects its revenue for the financial year ending March 2026 to be around 1-3%, as compared to the previous forecast of 0-3%, according to its statement to the exchanges.
Revenue of Bengaluru-based largest IT services firm rose 3.3% over previous quarter to Rs 42,279 crore in the three months ended June, according to an exchange filing. That compares with the Rs 41,724-crore consensus estimate of analysts tracked by Bloomberg.
Quarter-on-quarter revenue growth in constant currency stood at 2.6%, reversing a 3.5% decline in the March quarter. Year-on-year, revenue grew 3.8% in constant currency terms. Infosys reported large deal total contract value at $3.8 billion for the June quarter, up from $2.6 billion in the previous quarter. Net new deals accounted for 55% of the total TCV.
