Info Edge Ltd., the parent company of Naukri.com, saw its share price rise over 3% on Wednesday, after it reported a 61% jump in net profit in the third quarter of fiscal 2025.

The company’s strong financial performance seems to have bolstered investor confidence, leading to the positive movement in its stock.

Info Edge reported a net profit of Rs 243 crore for third quarter of financial year 2025, marking a 60.6% increase from Rs 151 crore in the same period last year. The firm's revenue grew by 15.2% year-on-year to Rs 722 crore, up from Rs 627 crore.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation rose by 34% to Rs 272 crore, compared to Rs 203 crore in the previous year. The Ebitda margin improved to 37.6%, from 32.3% in the same quarter last year.

Info Edge is an Indian technology company that operates various online classifieds businesses. It is best known for its leading employment website, Naukri.com.

Shares of the company rose as much as 3.65% to Rs 7,988 apiece. They pared gains to trade 2.21% higher at Rs 7,876 apiece, as of 02:16 p.m. This compares to a flat NSE Nifty 50.

The stock has risen 48% in the last 12 months. Total traded volume so far in the day stood at 1.1 times its 30-day average. The relative strength index was at 44.49.

Out of 20 analysts tracking the company, 16 maintain a 'buy' rating, three recommend a 'hold' and one suggest 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The average 12-month analysts' consensus price target implies an upside of 8.1%.
