ICICI Securities: Reliance Jio Losing Mobile Broadband Subscribers’ Market Share

ICICI Securities Report

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has released its monthly data on subscribers and mobile number portability for September 2020.

Industry active subs rose by 1.0 million with Bharti Airtel Ltd. leading the net add with 3.8 million subs.

Mobile broadband subs addition stood at 9.5 million, with highest addition again for Airtel at 7 million.

Airtel's MBB subs market share rose 75 basis points to 26.4% while Reliance Jio's dipped 60 basis points to 51.4% on active basis.
