Shares of HCL Technologies Ltd. rose 1.24% after it announced a partnership with UiPath, a leading US software firm, aimed at accelerating agentic automation for global enterprises. This collaboration is set to drive large-scale transformation across various sectors, enhancing business process operations with minimal human intervention, the company said in a statement on Monday.
The partnership will see HCLTech leverage its artificial intelligence capabilities to deploy the UiPath Platform, enabling autonomous operations in key areas such as finance, supply chain, procurement, customer service, marketing, and human resources. Additionally, HCLTech plans to establish an AI lab with UiPath in India.
The company statement highlighted that HCLTech will support this partnership with pre-configured AI agents and controls to ensure seamless deployment and scalability. The collaboration aims to enhance business agility, optimise workforce efficiency, and deliver faster returns on business process automation investments for global enterprises.
