(Bloomberg) -- A coalition of opposition parties in Guinea known as Opposition Republicaine protested against President Alpha Conde in the capital, Conakry, Tuesday.
Conde contributed to an increase in unemployment in the country by closing an alumina refinery and causing Rio Tinto Group to retreat from the country, Cellou Dalein Diallo, leader of the Union of Democratic Forces party, said in a speech at the end of the protest.
Government spokesman Damatang Albert Camara didn't immediately return phone calls seeking comment.
