Gold And Silver Prices Trade Flat — Check Prices In Mumbai, Chennai, Other Cities

Gold and silver prices remained unchanged on Monday as the demand for safe haven assets was muted. One upcoming cue for movement is US President Donald Trump's July 9 tariff deadline.
Gold price was trading at Rs 97,310 per 10 grams, as per the India Bullion Association. In the last six months, the highest price that the yellow metal had soared to was Rs 1,00,470 on June 15. In June, the commodity's price has gone as low as Rs 95,780 on June 28.
In New Delhi, the price stood at Rs 96,970 per 10 grams, compared to Rs 96,740 per 10 grams on Friday. Gold price in Mumbai was Rs 97,140 per 10 grams, against Rs 96,900 per 10 grams.
In Kolkata, the rate was Rs 97,010 per 10 grams, while in Bengaluru the rate stood at Rs 97,210. Price for the precious commodity was the highest in Chennai, trading at Rs 97,420 per 10 grams.
In the international market, gold spot price was 0.17% higher at $3,317.47 an ounce on Monday.
Aug. 5 futures for the yellow metal was flat as it was trading at Rs 96,988, according to the Multi Commodity Exchange.
Silver Prices
Silver price slipped marginally on Monday, standing at Rs 1,08,530 per kg, compared to Rs 1,08,380 per kg on Thursday. Sept. 5 futures for the commodity saw a 0.03% decline to stand at Rs 1,08,438 per kg.
Silver spot price was trading at $36.88 on July 7.
