FPIs Offload Stocks Worth Rs 3,567 Crore

Foreign portfolio investors stayed net sellers of Indian shares for the second straight day on Tuesday as they offloaded stocks worth Rs 3,566.8 crore, according to provisional data from the National Stock Exchange.
The domestic institutional investors, who remained buyers for the 12th straight session, acquired stocks worth Rs 5,044.5 crore.
The FPIs have sold shares worth Rs 5,826 crore in July so far and Rs 14,590 crore in the previous month, as per National Securities Depositories Ltd. data. In 2025 so far, the FPIs have net sold equities worth Rs 83,727 crore.
In June, financial services stocks received the largest share of FPI inflows. The sector accounted for 61% of total FPI flows during the month, marking the fourth consecutive month of net buying, according to data available on NSDL.
India's benchmark equity indices ended the session on a flat note on Tuesday as shares of Reliance Industries Ltd. and Infosys Ltd. weighed.
The NSE Nifty 50 ended 29.8 points or 0.12% lower at 25,060.9, while the BSE Sensex closed 13.53 points or 0.02% down at 82,186.81.
