“The Ministry of Coal reappointed them as independent directors on the board of Coal India for a period of one year with effect from Nov. 17, 2018, or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” the state-owned miner said in a BSE filing.

There are seven independent directors on the board of Coal India with these re-appointments.
